Documents

Following documents is required for carrying out the transport. All documents should be emailed to us before loading and 3 copies of each document should be handed over to the driver who collects the cargo.

Export invoice in English with customs code, value, gross and net weight stipulated for each item/invoice line.

This is only documents required for transport, be aware that the importer/buyer may require additional and different documents for the import customs procedures such as certificate of conformity, certificate of origin etc. It is advised to check with the consignee before sending anything as missing documents can delay the import process and leads to charges for demurrage/detention.

Exit customs point from EU to be indicated in EX1/T1 for containers = Tovarnik 70327 (Croatia), for trailers = Kapitan Andreevo 001015 (Bulgaria). These can change depending on routing.

All our rates are subject to following terms, conditions and reservations.

Rates are including

  • Door collection by truck.
  • Reloading at our warehouse.
  • For full loads delivery is DAP at destination.
  • For LTL and Groupage cargo will be delivered to consignees SVH/customs terminal indicated by shipper on DAT terms.
  • 3 HS-codes are included. More codes will be charged by 35 € per code, this is due to transit fee per HS-code in Azerbaijan.
  • Cargo value up to 300,000 USD

Rates are excluding

  • Export declaration EX1 or T1.
  • Import customs clearance.
  • Duties, taxes, VAT or dues imposed on the goods for import/export/transit.
  • Any convoy fee or additional customs guarantees due to high value cargo.
  • Any ADR fees.
  • Demurrage/detention beyond our control.

Rates are subject to

  • Equipment availability.
  • Applicable commodity, cargo weight restrictions and regulations.
  • Any official costs, delays, convoy charges for high value cargo.
  • Depending on local regulation, local charges may be applicable without prior notice.

Reservations

Reservations are made for rate increases, government interventions and circumstances beyond our control. Our rates are based on current cost levels and payment terms. We reserve the right to revise the rates.

Other

Maximum weight of cargo with containers = 20 – 22,5 tons depending on destination.

Transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. Estimated transit times do not included waiting on borders or idle time waiting for ferries and vessels.

Insurance according to the CMR convention.

The customer shall himself see to the sufficiency of his own insurance cover. We recommend each customer to check that they hold a cargo insurance that cover any loss in case of damages or loss of cargo.

In Europe for loading and customs formalities 4 hours are free; after that 20 € /hour for each started hour.

In Destination country for customs formalities and unloading 48 hours are free; demurrage 150 €/day.

The customer/shipper is responsible for the weight and measurements being correctly stated for each shipment. The shipment’s total measurement/weight is used as the basis for correct calculation of the freight price. Incorrectly stated measurements/weights are corrected at the freight payer’s expense according to applicable rates.

For cargo with strange shapes and forms, the largest measurements from each side will be used to calculate the total volume.

Information about SVH/Bonded warehouse, incl. address and number should be sent to us before loading.

Country specific rules may apply for certain commodities and countries of origin, we should therefor always receive a correct description of cargo, country of origin and correct HS-codes in order to provide an adequate offer.

It is the responsibility of the shipper that alle export documents are made according to the requirements of the country of delivery.

Terms and conditions

All tasks shall be carried out in accordance with the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2015) which i.a. limit the forwarders liability and entitle the forwarder to cover all his claims due for payment through sale of the customers property under his control (the forwarders lien). NSAB 2015 shall be applied, excluding time guarantee referred to in § 7, par. 2 and in § 19 par. B and liability for signing insurance referred to in § 25, par. A.

We hold the required road transport liability and freight forwarder´s liability insurance. The customer shall himself see to the sufficiency of his own cargo insurance cover.

The customer is responsible to provide the complete information about the final consignee, financial owners of the company, the owner of the goods and cargo description. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information is correct and is liable for damages and losses caused by incorrect information.

Please note that if handled cargo/units/parcels/products are in any way related to EU or the US sanctions list or related to companies and/or persons who are listed on sanctions lists, they are immediately cancelled, and all processes related to are stopped.

Volume weight

The customer/shipper is responsible for the weight and measurements being correctly stated for each shipment. The shipment’s total measurement/weight is used as the basis for correct calculation of the freight price. Incorrectly stated measurements/weights are corrected at the freight payer’s expense according to applicable rates. Deviations in the freight because of incorrectly stated measurements/weight are corrected to the freight payer at invoicing.

Loading meter

Goods that can’t be stacked or where, due to its nature or packaging, other goods cannot be loaded together with or beneath or on top of it will be charged as loading meters used.
1 loading meter corresponds to the use of 1 meter in length as well as then height and width.

Pallets

Goods which are packed on pallets, and which cannot be stacked, either under or over, are calculated according to the number of pallet spaces used by the goods.

Remember that the weight of the pallet itself without cargo should be included when calculating total weight per pallet!

Freight calculation

All freight is calculated per registered shipment, regardless of the number of parcels and is carried out according to the service depending on the specified freight calculation. A consignment is defined in a consignment note with a sender and a recipient of the goods, freight is calculated according to the stated weight/volume.
